Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Transfer to Your Pre-Safari Lodge

Day 2: Marangu Day Hike – Mount Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, depart from your lodge and drive to Marangu Gate, the main entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park. Upon arrival, complete the park registration procedures before beginning your guided hike through the lush montane rainforest of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The trail leads through a beautiful forest inhabited by black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a variety of bird species. As you ascend, your guide will introduce you to the unique flora and fauna found on Africa’s highest mountain. The hike continues to Mandara Hut (2,720m), the first hut on the Marangu Route, where you will enjoy a packed lunch and have time to rest while taking in the stunning surroundings.
You may also visit the nearby Maundi Crater, which offers spectacular views of the Kenyan plains and the surrounding landscapes on clear days.
After lunch, descend through the rainforest back to Marangu Gate, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your lodge.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Explore the park's vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River.
Look out for large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. The park's iconic baobab trees create a spectacular backdrop for wildlife photography.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most rewarding wildlife destinations and a hidden gem of the Northern Safari Circuit. Renowned for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse ecosystems, Tarangire offers exceptional game-viewing opportunities throughout the year.
Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through the park's rolling savannahs, acacia woodlands, seasonal swamps, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. The river serves as a vital water source, attracting a remarkable concentration of animals, particularly during the dry season.
Keep your camera ready as you search for large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and various antelope species. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird lovers, boasting more than 500 recorded bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park while taking in the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, continue exploring different areas of the park, maximizing your chances of spotting predators and other iconic African wildlife.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. Home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, the crater offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino.
After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. You may decide either to fly back home or stay one more night before departure.
